The newest pieces in the DReddyMade lineup, table and benches have started flow out of Tāche.It started innocently enough as a commission call from a friend of a friend. Now with access to some wonderful wood slabs she has started on the larger furniture projects. The next few months will be very exciting.
Charcuterie Boards
Our boards are locally sourced, live-edge Walnut or Maple hardwood. Hand selected for their distinct characteristics and grain pattern. Each board is honed and sanded with multiple courses of sandpaper until smooth. We finish each board with multiple coats of food grade oils and seal with bees wax, coconut oil, pure mineral oil and vitamin E.

Market and Retail Displays
One of the main comments we receive when we attend markets is how eye-catching and unique our displays are. This was by design, before we even considered attending local markets we knew we wanted to ensure our products were displayed well. We spent two years travelling to markets to take stock, noting the things that caused us to approach a booth asking ourselves what could we do differently, on a budget and make uniquely our own?
Ideally it came down to designing and building our own displays that we could break down for transportation and storage as well as custom crates to protect our products and double as market fixtures. We have to say that half the fun of attending the markets this past year was creating the displays.

Care & Maintenance
Wash your board by hand, lather up a sponge or cloth with a small amount of dish soap and warm water, wipe down the whole board. Wash away the soap, towel dry the surface and let it air dry. Ensure the board is completely dry before putting away. Do not soak your board or put in dishwasher.
To keep you board looking fresh and smooth, Regularly oil or wax your board with food-grade Board Butter This will keep your board looking fresh and new!
I handcraft each small batch myself using food‑grade mineral oil, beeswax, coconut oil, and vitamin E. This simple, natural blend is perfect for conditioning and protecting your cutting boards, charcuterie boards, and wooden kitchenware. It nourishes the wood and helps prevent drying and cracking

One of the most enjoyable parts of this journey has been creating custom works for people. The Entry Table Commission
This wonderful Entry Table was commissioned by a client for his wife. He had sourced the walnut slab and legs and now needed someone to finish the project.
The slab had a twist in it, so the first step was to flatten the slab on both sides with a router sled.
Followed by sanding to 150 grit and a water pop. and drill the holes and install the inserts for the bolts that will attach the legs.
Once the assembly was tested it was time to take the table apart and apply the a two part Hard Wax finish.
After a 24 hours the finish was given a sheen coat and then left for seven day to full cure. Below is the fulled cured entry table in its final assembly.
